This Sunday - Fathers' Day!
The greatest victory in life is not advancing ourselves, but faithfully leading others to Jesus Christ.
This Father's Day, we invite every father, husband, son, and family to join us as we continue our study through 1 Corinthians. In chapter 9, Paul writes as a spiritual father, showing the Corinthian church what faithful leadership really looks like. Rather than insisting on his rights, he willingly sacrifices them so that nothing would stand in the way of others coming to know Jesus Christ. Then, with the heart of a father, Paul challenges believers to run the race of faith with purpose, discipline, and endurance—not to win for personal success or recognition, but to see souls won for the kingdom of God. Fathers especially will be encouraged to consider the eternal influence of their lives as they lead their families by example, putting Christ first and others before themselves. Join us this Sunday at Calvary Chapel Waterford as we discover that the greatest victory in life is not advancing ourselves, but faithfully leading others to Jesus Christ.
